What a great website! Thanks for all of your passion concerning The Beach Boys. You and your research have provided invaluable information for all of us fans. By the way, I grew up in Blacksburg. My father was an English professor at Virginia Tech. Back in 1976 I wrote my high school term paper about the influence of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys on music and popular culture. There wasn’t much source material at the time! I was introduced to the band by my older cousins who owned the Pickwick Record “High Water’ . Like you Jim, the first time I heard “Good Vibrations” something shook me to the core. That began my lifelong devotion to The Beach Boys. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
